    aditus foundation is a non-governmental organisation established in 2011 by a group of young lawyers. We believe in the universality, interdependence & indivisibility of all human rights, and our mission is to promote a society where all persons are able to access and enjoy all their fundamental human rights. Where this is not possible, access to justice and remedies should be provided. Named for the Latin word meaning access, our work is focused on the attentive analysis of access to human rights recognition and enjoyment. In practical terms, we monitor, report and act on access to human rights by individuals and groups. Our focus is primarily Malta, but we also work towards highlighting the regional & international dimensions of human rights in Malta.

    Kopin was set up 15 years ago and is one of the few professional NGOs working in the human rights field in Malta. Our mission is to contribute to the alleviation of global poverty and social injustice by adopting a human rights-based approach; exchanging ideas and experiences with local, European and global partners, and seeking to be innovative by identifying neglected areas of concern.
