University Awareness Raising

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, a university awareness program will run in South Africa.

Pamphlets with information about the situation for children in immigration detention in South Africa will be handed out, as well as stickers and other campaigning material.

Signatures from university students will be collected for the Global Petition calling for an end to child detention.

This activity will be conducted by campaign volunteer, Andrea Broens, with support from Lawyers for Human Rights and Cormsa.
