Liberty for Children

From November 20, Uganda’s Refugee Law Project reached out to Ugandans across Kampala and many other areas of Uganda, putting up posters, handing out t-shirts and actively conversing with all who would listen that child detention occurs in Uganda – and across the world.

Everywhere they went they took photos and shared it on both their Facebook and Twitter.

They went across Uganda so that people would see that children have a right to liberty that is consistent with their rights as outlined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).
